Peyton Manning Reacts to Broncos Ring of Fame Honor: “It’s Truly a Privilege to Join Such a Legendary Group”

NFL legend and former Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has officially been named to the Broncos Ring of Fame, marking another milestone in his iconic football journey. Known for his leadership, intelligence, and relentless pursuit of excellence, Manning’s contributions to the franchise have now been permanently etched into the team’s storied history.
In response to the announcement, Manning expressed deep gratitude for the recognition and reflected on the honor of being included among the franchise’s greatest players.
> “I’m incredibly honored to be named to the Broncos Ring of Fame,” Manning said. “Having been on the field when other members of the Ring of Fame have been inducted, you can tell what a special fraternity it is and how excited they are to join such a distinguished group. From Floyd Little to Karl Mecklenburg to Steve Atwater to many others, I’ve always looked up at the names around the stadium and admired the great players the Broncos have had over the years. I’m very humbled to now join them as a Ring of Famer.”
Manning, who played for the Broncos from 2012 to 2015, led Denver to two Super Bowl appearances and delivered the franchise its third Lombardi Trophy in Super Bowl 50. During his tenure in Denver, he broke multiple NFL records, including the single-season passing touchdown mark with 55 in 2013, a year in which he also threw for over 5,400 yards.
More than just statistics, Manning’s impact on the organization was profound. His arrival revitalized the franchise, bringing a new era of success and professionalism to a team looking to return to championship contention. Under his leadership, the Broncos won four consecutive AFC West titles and consistently ranked among the NFL’s elite.
Team President Damani Leech praised Manning’s legacy, stating, “Peyton Manning didn’t just play quarterback — he elevated the entire organization. His work ethic, preparation, and love for the game set a standard that influenced everyone around him, from players to coaches to staff.”
The Broncos Ring of Fame, established in 1984, honors former players, coaches, and executives who have made outstanding contributions to the team. Manning becomes the 36th member to receive the prestigious honor, joining an elite group of Broncos legends whose names encircle Empower Field at Mile High.
Manning’s induction ceremony is scheduled for later this year, with fans, teammates, and franchise greats expected to attend and celebrate the quarterback who brought renewed glory to Denver.
